Vi n\u00e4rmade oss denna bed\u00e5rande lilla sk\u00f6nhet fr\u00e5n sj\u00f6sidan med hjul\u00e5ngare en solig f\u00f6rmiddag. Hela den lilla staden kl\u00e4ttrar p\u00e5 berget p\u00e5 den v\u00e4stra sida av Gardasj\u00f6n, just d\u00e4r klipporna \u00e4r som mest dramatiska. Bilv\u00e4gen b\u00e5de norr och s\u00f6derut \u00e4r spr\u00e4ngda tunnlar i berget, s\u00e5 brant och otillg\u00e4ngligt \u00e4r det h\u00e4r. Vi m\u00f6ts av pastellf\u00e4rgade hus, blomarrangemang, sm\u00e5 s\u00f6ta fiskeb\u00e5tar. En aura av citrondoft omger hela staden och i snart sagt varje butik s\u00e4ljs citrontv\u00e5lar, citronm\u00f6nstrat porslin och den citronlik\u00f6r som sj\u00f6ns alla restauranger erbjuder som gratis avslutning p\u00e5 varje middag. Det \u00e4r h\u00e4r den tillverkas och citronerna odlas. Gardasj\u00f6ns h\u00e4ftigaste kastell finns h\u00e4r och att staden befinner sig l\u00e4ngst ut p\u00e5 en smal halv\u00f6 ger riktigt h\u00e4ftiga vyer, samt <em>b\u00e5de<\/em> en soluppg\u00e5ng och en solnedg\u00e5ng.<\/p>\n<p>Dock \u00e4r omgivande landskap inte lika dramatiskt och vackert h\u00e4r som l\u00e4ngre norrut. H\u00e4r bodde vi merparten av v\u00e5r vistelse vid Gardasj\u00f6n. Gamla hus, gr\u00e4nder, badbryggor och ett pampigt kastell hittar man \u00e4ven h\u00e4r. Att se staden fr\u00e5n sj\u00f6sidan \u00e4r ett absolut m\u00e5ste. H\u00e4r finns ocks\u00e5, men Gardasj\u00f6-m\u00e4ssiga m\u00e5tt en riktigt bra strand. F\u00f6r den som \u00e4r lagd \u00e5t det h\u00e5llet. Sj\u00e4lva badar vi f\u00f6rst\u00e5s bara fr\u00e5n badbryggor, n\u00e4r vi nu \u00e4nd\u00e5 \u00e4r i Italien. Och vi s\u00e4ger det igen. En strandpromenad, gamla \u00e4rev\u00f6rdiga hotell fr\u00e5n n\u00e4r f\u00f6rra seklet var ungt.
