L\u00e4ste i m\u00e5ndags ett inl\u00e4gg p\u00e5 bloggen Halloj V\u00e4rlden<\/em> som verkligen triggade kart-n\u00f6rden i mig. Den som f\u00f6rut brukade h\u00e4nga med n\u00e4san \u00f6ver min stora tunga v\u00e4rldsatlas. Som numera mer h\u00e4nger p\u00e5 Google maps. Men som nu tvingade mig tillbaka till den d\u00e4r pappersboken. F\u00f6r s\u00e4ga vad man vill om Google Maps. Men latitud och longitud \u00e4r de d\u00e5liga p\u00e5 att s\u00e4tta ut.<\/p>\n

\u00d6stligaste, v\u00e4stligaste, nordligaste och sydligaste platserna jag varit p\u00e5<\/a>, skriver Inger som driver Halloj V\u00e4rlden. Hon har uppn\u00e5tt imponerande positioner i alla v\u00e4derstrecken. Vi sj\u00e4lva har visserligen rest mycket, men v\u00e5ra resor har alla haft ett f\u00f6rbeh\u00e5ll. Destinationer som Patagonien, S\u00f6derhavet, Nya Zeeland och s\u00e5nt kr\u00e4ver betydligt mer av sin resen\u00e4r \u00e4n en vecka eller tv\u00e5.<\/p>\n

Men n\u00e4r t\u00e4rningen v\u00e4l var kastad, m\u00e5ste jag f\u00f6rst\u00e5s m\u00e4ta upp mina ytterpositioner, jag ocks\u00e5. I den d\u00e4r atlasen.<\/p>\n

Nordligaste punkten – Treriksr\u00f6set<\/h2>\n

Medan jag v\u00e4ntar p\u00e5 den d\u00e4r underbara husbilsresan till Nordkap, s\u00e5 \u00e4r och f\u00f6rblir den nordligaste punkt jag har bes\u00f6kt Sveriges nordligaste punkt, n\u00e4mligen Treriksr\u00f6set. Klassiskt och bra.<\/p>\n

\u00d6stligaste punkten – Tsukiji fish-market i Tokyo<\/h2>\n

Japan \u00e4r helt klart det land l\u00e4ngst \u00f6sterut som jag varit till. Och av de platser vi bes\u00f6kte i Japan, har Tokyo den \u00f6stligaste positionen. Men inom Tokyo har jag inte riktigt koll, utan f\u00e5r steg f\u00f6r steg kart-googla de platser som vi bes\u00f6kte. Tsukiji fish-market blir resultatet. Denna enorma fiskmarknad som vi bes\u00f6kte tidigt en morgon. F\u00f6r att Lonely Planet talade om f\u00f6r oss att det var n\u00e5got vi borde g\u00f6ra. H\u00e4r n\u00e5dde jag mitt livs \u00f6stligaste kulmen.<\/p>\n

Sydligaste punkten – Godahoppsudden<\/h2>\n

H\u00e4r fick Atlasen jobba lite med sina latituder, f\u00f6r Sydamerika ligger l\u00e4ngre s\u00f6derut \u00e4n man tror. Men Sydafrika och Goda hoppsudden vann slaget som min sydligaste punkt.<\/p>\n

Hit kom vi en eftermiddag i slutet p\u00e5 mars 2017. Ett svenskt filmteam var h\u00e4r samtidigt och filmade n\u00e5gon sekvens f\u00f6r ett matlagningsprogram p\u00e5 en doldis-kanal, minns jag. Och det var verkligen en s\u00e5n d\u00e4r v\u00e4rldens \u00e4nde-st\u00e4mning d\u00e4r ute p\u00e5 udden. Precis som man dr\u00f6mmer om att det ska vara.<\/p>\n

V\u00e4stligaste punkten – Muir Woods nationalmonument, Kalifornien<\/h2>\n

H\u00e4r f\u00e5r man finlira lite. Helt klart \u00e4r det ju Kalifornien som \u00e4r min v\u00e4straste punkt. Men exakt var liksom? Kalifornien har jag ju dessutom varit till tv\u00e5 g\u00e5nger, med tv\u00e5 olika rutter. Men det blir min och Christofers resa 2008 som vinner. F\u00f6r denna g\u00e5ng tar vi hyrbilen till Muir Woods nationalmonument och n\u00e5r d\u00e5 en en punkt v\u00e4ster om sj\u00e4lva San Fransisco n\u00e5gonstans d\u00e4r mitt bland de ur\u00e5ldriga giganterna till tr\u00e4d.<\/p>\n
